Hootie and the Blowfish

Following on from last month's Milwaukee music marathon, Summerfest, we took in another concert last weekend by seeing 90s classics Hootie and the Blowfish.

They actually played for free at our local county fair two weekends ago but Robbie was sailing from Chicago to northern Michigan in a race and I was in Miami (more on that soon) so we made the trek to an Indian casino about an hour and a half away to watch them play.

Sad that one of the biggest acts of the 90s (their debut release was the biggest selling debut album on record) was reduced to playing a country casino ballroom - capacity about 900 people - but we were the lucky ones... the show was sensational and after the first song they invited people up the front - and we were there in a heartbeat!
