Lincoln and Me

Spent last weekend in Washington DC saying goodbyes to Ollie and Ann who are packing up and about to head back to New Zealand to embark on their next big adventure.

It was great to see them and spend some time in what will probably be my last trip to DC for a while. Ollie was kind enough to indulge me with some final sightseeing downtown - including the Lincoln Memorial, the WWII Memorial and some time well spent in front of some of the contemporary collections at the National Gallery.

We spent Saturday night at the famous Blues Alley in Georgetown
and caught the metro home - Ollie's last visit to what was his daily routine

Be Your Own Publisher

Came across these two sites today that while not offer some great options for creating your own memory book on Blurb, or in the case of Tastebook - you're own cookbook....
Steve T, I think I have just solved your Christmas present dilemma!
