The Dalai Lama is currently visiting Wisconsin on his American tour. He's been teaching at the Buddist center in Madison, the state capital, for three days and his visit finishes with a public lecture today (sold out by the time I heard about it).There's been NO coverage in the local media - not sure why, but when I did a search today to put up some links there is nothing - except a story last week about the controversy surrounding the flying of the Tibetan flag during his visit...
Meanwhile the Queen is also in the US and has been all over the news...perhaps says more about the fact that the country is interested in a national leader because there was a movie released of the same name in the past six months, as opposed to listening to a man with a message.
Oh dear.
