The humble Sunday roast leg of lamb -the cheapest cut of meat to be
found on the family farm at "Grasslea" when I was growing up - was on
sale at our local supermarket tonight for $4.99 per pound...an
astonishing US$64. We don't eat lamb much.

Blog Hiatus
The temperature guage on my car is telling me a scary thing - that the
days of wintery snow are likely over...

While today's temperature is a freak of nature perhaps (but a highly
positive obe for the Irish drunks that were sitting outside
celebrating St Pat's Day) it reminded me that I'd better get a leg up
and post some of the wonderful snow and icescapades that we've been up
to in the past few weeks....
Trouble is that our home Internet has been on the blink which is
making posting a little hard. Hope to get that sorted and update more
soon....I promise!

Butchering Ab Fab

First we had the butchering of the classic, Kath & Kim, now there is a planned US remake of Ab Fab. I am not happy.
